Racing Refund on Caulfield Cup Day if your Horse Finishes in First Half of the Field

Get your money back with William Hill if your horse finishes in the first half of the field in races 1 to 4 at Caulfield on Saturday.

More ripping racing this weekend as all eyes turn to the Caulfield Cup on Saturday. But plenty of punters will focus on the first four events at Caulfield thanks to William Hill’s outrageous offer on the early races.

William Hill’s First Half of the Field Refund

While other Bookmakers may offer money back if your horse runs a place, William Hill’s half field refund means their members have a fifty/fifty chance of keeping their cash. That’s right, back a horse to win in races 1 to 4 at Caulfield on Saturday and if your pick finishes in the first half of the field you’ll get your money back. The maximum refund is $25 per race with your first fixed odds win wager qualifying for the promotion.

So how do you half an odd numbered field you ask? The obvious answer is… YOU CAN’T. Therefore in races where there is an odd number of runners William Hill will issue money back to the bigger portion of the field. So if 9 horses take part in an event, the first 5 will be eligible for cash back. It doesn’t matter whether you back the short priced favourite or the roughest runner in the race, as long as your selection ends somewhere in the top half of the field you won’t blow your dough.

Race 3 is at 2pm, it’s the listed New Zealand Bloodstock Ethereal Stakes over 2000 metres while the Group 3 racing.com Caulfield Classic is also over 2000 metres.
