Money Back Specials on NRL Round 1 at Sportsbet
February 29, 2012
In the countdown to the kick off of the 2012 NRL
season, Australian online bookmaker Sportsbet is offering
Money Back Specials on all eight first round matches.
Punters can bet on any head to head market this
weekend and if their team is leading with 10 minutes to go but lose the match, Sportsbets will give their money back. The offer
is available to Sportbet members betting with real money and subject to a $100 maximum refund. New customers can join Sportsbet
following this link.
The 2012 NRL season looks like being the closest in years and punters can throw a hat
over the five leading fancies in the Grand Final betting market. Sportsbet can’t separate Melbourne Storm and WestsTigers
at the top of the betting market. Storm head to Canberra to begin the campaign against the Raiders who have Terry Campese fit
for the start of the season. Tigers get underway with a home match against Cronulla Sharks who look to have their strongest
line up for some years and could cause a few surprises this year.
The biggest game of the round is Sunday’s
mid-day kick off between Warriors and Manly who met in the 2011 Grand Final. The Sea Eagles dominated throughout when winning
the trophy at the ANZ Stadium last October but it’s the Warriors who are favourite for the rematch at Eden Park.
Punters could make a fair argument for every team in the round 1 head to heads and each game could easily go either way.
It would be no surprise to see Sportbet giving Money Back on more than one of the weekend’s matches.
